Vietnam’s rice export revenues are set to surpass US$5 billion in 2024, driven by high demand, increased prices, and improved quality. Export volume increased by 5.9%, bringing in $3.85 billion—a 21.7% rise. Vietnam is expanding into new markets in Africa, the Middle East, Japan, and South Korea, diversifying and strengthening its industry. Despite challenges, the Ministry of Industry and Trade continues to support exporters.
